imusify in Japan: Week 1 Update
Speaking tour from Tokyo, Fukuoka, to Osaka: June 24th — July 3rd, 2018
As we announced earlier this week, we are currently in Japan on NEO’s roadshow along with Switcheo and O3 Labs. It’s been a busy, but amazing week! At our first stop, Japan Blockchain Conference, we presented imusify to over 5,000 attendees in Tokyo.
We spoke about the issues associated with today’s music industry, about blockchain use-cases, and how our platform can help rejuvenate the music economy. We shared our vision for how we built ourselves upon the NEO ecosystem — and we are proud to be a part of a friendly and open development community that values quality and longevity. By highlighting key points of our project and showcasing the educational aspect of our long-term vision for imusify, we are establishing ourselves first in the Japanese market.
The JBC Conference has wrapped, but we aren’t going home yet. We are eager to attend our next conference at Fukuoka’s Growth Next Event, co-organized by the Fukuoka Engineer Lab. At this event, we’ll be educating engineers interested in blockchain, and sharing how the NEO Smart Economy fits into our vision. For event information, click here.
After Growth Next, we’re heading back to Tokyo for Block Co+ Asia, where we’ll be accompanied by NEO’s Shanghai team to build blockchain awareness amongst the events’ attendees. Similar to JBC, this conference aims to introduce and further educate the Japanese community about NEO and its leading decentralized projects. These events are huge steps in helping the general public’s understanding of blockchain’s rapidly increasing development. We are honored to share these pioneering experiences with NEO, Switcheo, and O3.

The day following Block Co+ in Tokyo, we’ll be at the Blockchain Innovation Conference. At BIC, we’ll meet with professors and educators interested in leading the educational efforts towards blockchain development in Japan. This event presents the ultimate opportunity not only for imusify to be solidified as a thought leader in the space, but more importantly to learn where the key gaps in knowledge are, adapting our own educational efforts in the future to meet these needs.
