Driven by a passion for digital storytelling, I developed the concept of In Curious Mode, a publication that delivers an account of the means, magic and methods of great digital storytelling. We investigate how brands can successfully create great content to enrich the mutual experience between the brand and its audience.
In Curious Mode is a news project that has been borne from my interests, from fashion and tech to TV and filmmaking, and my love for design.

News updates from our editors, The Curious Ones, endeavour to inspire brands to bring their content to life, with a personal and transparent approach to our discussions. Our analysis and insights into audience engagement drive brands to optimise their content to meet their business goals and to reap the commercial rewards.

At In Curious Mode, we are fascinated with new emerging technologies and keep abreast of all digital developments and trends so that our content is created from informed research and analysis to inform our clients’ strategy. In Curious Mode seeks to demystify digital storytelling, a disruptive entity for brands and the retail landscape in recent years, and to help brands understand how you can profit from surprising and entertaining your audience.

A story envelopes both the creator and the audience.

A great storyteller will consider not just the content but the context of where it exists and by whom it will be received.

Both the storyteller and the audience share equal value in the meaning and success of a tale. It’s not just about the story you tell, but about how your content is interpreted, what emotions it delivers and whether it is believable and trustworthy.
Building a brand story is not about shouting aloud for attention, but about building a meaningful human connection with your audience, a tangible experience that recognises the audience and identifies with them on a personal level. That tangible connection is too often lost in an increasingly digital world, and through studying the behavioural trends, it becomes evident that people are longing for that deeper human connection. One which can be established both on and offline, whatever the medium or platform.
