Certain truths about fat loss and getting in shape are often challenging to accept, but they are essential to acknowledge. Losing fat isn’t just about knowing what to do; it’s about facing these hard truths, taking full responsibility for your actions, and doing what is required to achieve your goals.

If you want actual, sustainable results, you must embrace these five uncomfortable fat loss truths.

1. Nobody Can Do The Work For You

Your health and body are your responsibility. There are many reasons why you might be where you are today, some of which may have been out of your control. You can’t change what happened in the past, but you can change what happens next.

Even if you have all the time and money to hire the best trainers and personal chefs, no one can exercise and eat for you. You must take ownership of your habits and make the necessary changes for the desired results. The sooner you accept that no one else can do the work for you, the sooner you’ll take the actions needed for success.

2. There’s Nothing Easy About Change
