1. Take care of you first

First rule of self-care: take care of yourself like you’re your favorite person.

Spoil yourself rotten — sleep in, have that ice cream, give yourself space, and say no to things you don’t feel like doing and no to the people you don’t feel like seeing. Rest. Heal yourself.

2. Allot a self-care budget

It’s easy to spend all your money on your family and friends, and even your adorable furry pet. The very fact that you’re reading this means you’re a good person accustomed to taking care of others.

Allocate money to self-care so you can spoil yourself guilt-free. We budget for electricity, for our phones, for groceries. Budget for you too. You’re the most important person here. Budget for your spoil-me money.

3. Let others help

Be it meals, babysitting, supporting your business.
