A Quick, Easy, Delicious, and Simple Salmon Recipe
Tasty food does not have to be difficult to make, and Salmon with Lime and Five-Spice Powder proves this
We eat lots of fish, and I am always searching for new ways to prepare it. One day I stumbled upon this recipe and have made it many times with salmon, white-flesh fish, chicken, and even shrimp. It is simple, quick, and delicious. The only unusual ingredient is Five-Spice Powder (cinnamon, star anise, cloves, ginger, and pepper). Sometimes called Chinese Five-Spice, it is used frequently in Asian cooking. And best of all, there are only five ingredients (not counting the salt and pepper).
Salmon with Lime and Five-Spice
Ingredients:
- 3–4 six ounces or so salmon fillets (with or without skin)
- Juice of 1/2–1 lime
- 2–3 T butter
- 1/2 tsp Five Spice Powder
- 1T olive oil
- salt and pepper

- Rinse and pat dry the fillets
