You don’t need to lose weight postpartum if you don’t want to. You don’t need to restrict your food intake or hit the gym seven days a week (how would you even have time?!). But. If you do want to lose weight postpartum, which many women do want to (myself included), there’s a healthy way to do that.

Whichever approach you take postpartum is okay. We’re all different and you can do whatever you want with your body. For me personally, losing weight postpartum helped me feel happier in my body and more confident as a new mom.

So I’m anyone’s interested, here’s what I did after my first pregnancy that helped me lose weight, build strength, and gain confidence postpartum.

Pre-Pregnancy Wellness

It’s a 10-month-long marathon.
