We all love sugar, and we always will.

But how does high fructose corn syrup fit in the picture? Where did it come from and is it really “worse” than regular sugar?

High fructose corn syrup may not be the greatest ingredient in the world, but can we can even consider it an ingredient as much as a chemical concoction?

We’ve become more aware of the issues of HFCS and some manufacturers have steered clear of it because of public backlash. We have also learned that it may not be too good for us.

But other research will say it’s not that bad. What are you supposed to believe?

I’ve worked in the fitness/health industry for over 20 years. I’ve been a personal trainer, nutritionist, and certified health and wellness specialist, and I think the high fructose corn syrup issue has been brought up to me more than any other topic.
