How to Make 2023 the Year You Actually Stay In Shape
Don't stop at the end of January. Make the change for real.
When I think of January, one thing comes to mind:
The gym gets nuts.
January is the time of year when all the people who have let their health and fitness slip become motivated and buy a new gym membership.
I'm being selfish, but it'll be a rough few weeks: I'll probably have to wait for a squat rack at my gym now.
But the good news?
It'll only last a few weeks.
Because once the new year's resolution momentum wears down come early February, the gym goes back to its normal volume, and I can peacefully waltz in and do squats without asking anyone, "how many sets do you have left?"
Come February, the only people at the gym are the same ones who were there back in December.
Despite my whining over lines for the squat rack, I don't want this to happen to you. I don't want you to be one of the people whose shiny new gym shoes are destined to collect dust in the closet.
