After our daily activities, we are meant to use the evening to relax, rejuvenate, and prepare for the next day. This is ideal and healthy. However, most of our after-work activities are dangerous to our health and counterproductive to our progress and living.

Since the evening time is supposed to be a passive moment, we tend to give no thought to the effect of what we do after work and most times find all means to give vents to our exhaustion, both physical and mental.

Sleeping lazily on the sofa, consuming all kinds of unhealthy snacks, or binging on sugary or alcoholic drinks while we stay glued to the television sets are our major evening activities.

Even when we socialize, our socialization is consumed with gossips and unnecessary arguments, which eventually sap our mental and physical energy, thus building steps towards a poor sleep and tensed morning the next day.

Findings have shown that if we can be productive even after work, we can have more relaxation time, enjoy time with friends and family, and have efficient personal time.
