So, these days, everyone has started to believe more in yoga as the doctors and experts say that it can help increase immunity and help fight with covid-19 virus.

But Covid is not the only reason why everyone should start doing yoga. Yoga is an ancient practice that brings together mind and body. There are innumerable other benefits of doing it. As yoga includes breathing exercises, it can be really great for the respiratory system and cleans the breathing tube.

Yoga could be the cure to every problem, may it be related to bones, joint pain, skin problems, Heart Diseases, Breathing problems, problems related to mental health, weight problem, or any other.

Practicing yoga is said to come with many benefits for both mental and physical health. It can decrease stress, multiple studies have shown that it can decrease the secretion of the primary stress hormone. It also relieves anxiety.

It could improve heart health by pumping blood throughout the body to supplying nutrients. It improves the quality of life and may fight depression. It can also help promote better sleep quality. Many people add yoga to their fitness routine to improve flexibility and balance. It may relieve migraines.

It also promotes healthy eating habits. It helps control metabolism and having a balanced metabolism results in maintaining a healthy weight and controlling hunger.

Through consistent practice, your posture will improve so that you look more confident and healthy. Regular yoga practice provides consistent energy. A yoga regimen can increase the vitamin C in your body, and this vitamin helps boost immunity, produce collagen, and is a powerful antioxidant.

Due to the practice of yoga, the digestive system and elimination system work more efficiently. It helps to reduce back pain. Yoga could help in strengthening weak muscles of the body. It helps in lowering blood sugar and also lowers bad cholesterol. It improves the body’s sensitivity to insulin.

Moving your body is medicine, it allows for detoxification by flushing all of the organs. Yoga has great benefits for the skin. It causes enlargement of the blood vessels, which leads to increased blood flow to the skin, providing it with more oxygen and nutrients, lending itself a glow(italics).

And just like yoga, Meditation to bits of help in a lot of things. Most people meditate for the benefit of their mental health but it could also be helpful for other things. The popularity of meditation is increasing as more people discover its many health benefits.

Normally, Meditation can be defined as, that is a practice that involves relaxation, focus, and awareness. Meditation is to the mind what physical exercise is to the body.

Meditation is something anyone can do to improve their mental and emotional health. There is a great variety of styles too, each with different strengths and benefits. Some of them are Mindfulness meditation, Spiritual meditation, Focused meditation, Visualization meditation, Progressive relaxation, etc. Trying out a style of meditation suited to your goals is a great way to improve your quality of life, even if you only have a few minutes to do it each day.

Meditating daily can help you perform better at work. A Research found that it helps increase your ability to multitask. It helps clear our minds and focus on the present moment which gives you a huge productivity boost.

Stress reduction is one of the most common reasons people try meditation. In an 8-week study, a meditation style called mindful meditation reduced the inflammation response caused by stress. One review also concluded that meditation lives up to its reputation for stress reduction.

It enhances self-awareness. Some forms of meditation may help you develop a stronger understanding of yourself, helping you grow into your best self. It also improves sleep. Meditation can also improve physical health by reducing strain on the heart. There are also a lot of benefits for the skin by meditating. It slows down the aging process and mindful breathing while meditating adds oxygen to the skin, which is key in boosting cellular health. It improves your complexion and reduces wrinkles.

So, there are innumerable benefits of doing yoga and meditation daily, even if you do it for few minutes. Therefore every one of us should practice these two things every day.
