If I Could Do only One Leg Exercise for The Rest of My Life, I’d Do This

It’s highly functional, hits almost every leg muscle, and can be done anywhere

The fitness mistake I regret the most is skipping leg days in my first two years of working out.

Nothing looks worse than having a jacked upper body and chicken legs. With your lower body making up over 50% of your full body musculature, you’ll also miss out on a lot of potential gains.

Also, leg days do much more than just building your lower body—they also forge discipline, increase your ability to go harder, boost your anabolic hormones, and slap slabs of muscle on your entire body.

But I understand that leg workouts can seem plain intimidating — bar bending back squats, grunting loaded leg presses, and life-sucking deadlifts. I also understand that not everyone wants to go or has access to a gym.

So I want to share just one leg exercise with you — one you can perform anywhere and hits almost every single leg muscle with. It’s also highly functional, so it improves your day-to-day movements as well.

If you do nothing else for your legs, do this. In case you already diligently train legs, this can be a great way for the occasions you’re short on time.
