It Took Me 4 Weeks To Overcome My Lifelong Acne — Here’s How
A few lifestyle changes make all the difference!
I started getting acne as a teenager because of my PCOS. I took a lot of meds and applied lotions, on and off for over a decade.
When I was 13, I went to a boarding school in the mountains so in the coming years my acne didn’t go as crazy… or so I thought.
I had bouts of acne. Mostly during exams!
I had acne come on and off in undergrad and always had zits during my postgrad.
And then in late 2021, when I was 26, I had adult acne that didn’t want to go away. It was cystic, painful, took over my jawline, and didn’t stop. I had pus-filled pimples come in frequently.
I reached a point where I didn’t want to record YouTube videos because I got so conscious. So here are some changes I made starting in 2022, with the help of a nutritionist who changed my life and even gave me my first flat tummy.
Note: I have been working out 5–6x a week and eating healthy since 2014, so these changes were made in spite of a healthy lifestyle that still didn’t stop acne.
