I was very surprised I read that this snack — often dismissed as junk food, is a legitimate healthy snack!

For years, eateries have expanded this snack to become a junk food attraction than healthy, antioxidant-filled food.

I now feel bad telling my daughter not to eat this (although her’s contains lots of butter and salt!)

I can’t believe that popcorn contains more phytonutrients than fruits and veggies!

For years I’ve dismissed popcorn, mostly because it hurts my digestion.

But Joe Vinson, a pioneer in amazing healthful components in chocolate, nuts and other common foods, explained that polyphenols are more concentrated in popcorn, which averages about 4 per cent water.

In contrast, polyphenols are diluted in 90 per cent water, making up many fruits and vegetables.
