Intermittent fasting is always going to be one of the biggest weight loss trends to date.

Come to think of it, I don’t believe it’s a trend anymore — more so a lifestyle habit many people have adapted to.

Hundreds and thousands of people worldwide are fasting daily — and with good reason.

Perhaps it’s a lot easier than your conventional diets.

Instead of eating less, you have a particular eating schedule that caters to your lifestyle. The benefits derive when you expand the time you are not eating.

A fasted state stimulates cellular breakdown and repair — whereas a fed state promotes cellular growth.

We need both to occur regularly to survive. Cellular growth benefits people who build muscle (although we all should try to attain some muscle mass throughout our life).
