First thing in the morning, I head to my coffee press.

Beans are ground, fresh from the day before and ready for me to begin my coffee ritual process.

As it heats up, I eagerly wait for my brew to give me that much-needed boost before my workout.

You could say that coffee is like a ‘pre-workout’ that doesn’t dampen the caloric bank.

Let’s not forget just how good coffee is for our health too.

Its myriad health benefits start from protecting us against heart failure, boosting liver function and stabilising blood sugar. I almost forgot to mention that it helps boost our metabolism too!

Not bad at all — considering all this is found in a cup.

As a result, coffee can sometimes take precedence over water.
