I waited years to fix my teeth. All I could see in pictures was the snaggletooth that was trying to flee from my mouth, an unsightly curve to the left. It was an eyesore — constantly ruining what otherwise would have been beautiful shots.

It’s an expensive and time-consuming commitment, so it took a long time to convince myself that it was worth it. Now I recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone on the fence.

My first round of treatment comprised of nineteen trays, followed by seven refinement trays. It took less than a year, but I was methodical in my compliance. Some days I had the aligners out for less than an hour, resulting in rushed meals and an obsession that likely wasn’t all that healthy.

I considered traditional braces, but the pain, cost and treatment time were all dealbreakers — especially when Invisalign proved to be a better alternative.
