Rediscovering My Love For Pole Dancing After An Accident
Your fitness journey can get unexpectedly derailed, but you can always find your way back.
I started pole dancing when I was 30.
It was an impulsive decision, one that I now recognize as one of the best I made in my life.
Before starting my pole fitness journey, I was apprehensive about my weight, fitness, and flexibility levels. I wondered if I could attempt something so unfamiliar with no prior experience.
Turns out, I needn’t have worried.
I fell in love after my first class.
The instructor was amazing. The seven other women who took pole dancing lessons with me were supportive and always encouraging. The studio made up for such a positive vibe that I wanted to keep going back.
Five months of pole dancing later, I can confidently say it has changed my life.
