Sadly, there is no best one-size-fits-all weight loss workout. So why would I title this article “The Best Weight Loss Workout”? Clickbait? Not really. While there is no single best weight loss workout, there are specific guidelines that you can follow to easily create the best weight loss workout for you. Before we get into the guidelines, let's talk about the role of workouts/exercise in weight loss.
Why Exercise Matters For Weight Loss?
Can you lose weight without exercise? Yes! Weight loss is simply defined as the removal of mass from the body. When we colloquially talk about weight loss, we typically are referring to fat loss; however, typically with fat loss, there is also muscle loss. So for the terms of this article, I will be specifically referring to the combination of fat and muscle loss that comes from a hypocaloric diet as weight loss.
So what is a hypocaloric diet? Ever heard of calories in less than calories out? That is a hypocaloric diet.
