The Effect of Running on Human Connection

Oriah Mountain Dreamer captivates me, with the opening sentence in her poem The Invitation: “It doesn’t interest me what you do for a living/I want to know what you ache for/and if you dare to dream of meeting your heart’s longing”. She alludes to courage and passion, her focus is on matters of the heart, not materialism. She illustrates the beauty of simplicity.
