Could healthy and bread be in the same sentence and encouraged by health professionals?

A balanced diet should contain various nutrients, including bread, if that tickles your fancy.

Bread tastes great, and for years the message has often come across that bread is a bad carb — not good for us & results in fat gain.

Fat gain is probably the one common denominator amongst those who eliminate carbs.

If you’re currently trying to lose body fat or shred down — you might be scared of a wholesome slice of bread.

Carbs are not all bad and essential in anyone’s diet — whether or not you are trying to lose weight.

What good would a long-term nutritional plan be if you couldn’t eat what you love? Bread is just one small part of a balanced diet.

It’s recommended that we all have at least two to three servings of whole grains daily. Wholegrains are found in bread (particular types), which can help prevent diabetes, pancreatic and gastric cancer, and cardiovascular disease.
