In the modern world we live in, making smart decisions about what we eat is becoming increasingly difficult.

However, food is more than just fuel — it’s a tool that can help — or hinder — our goals, productivity, and happiness. We often eat for reasons not related to hunger, and overcoming this habit requires self-awareness. Over the years, I’ve developed a simple, no-nonsense approach to eating that’s helped me and my clients stay on track. It boils down to asking three questions before putting anything on my plate:

  1. Will this help me reach my goals?
  2. Will this hurt my productivity and well-being?
  3. Will this make me happy through social connection?
