Are you someone who wants to put minimal effort into what you do? Are you someone who doesn’t like physical exertion? Then, I suggest you keep reading!

Even when we understand the importance of regular exercise on mental and physical health, it is quite difficult to develop a routine that we can stick to. The key to a balanced exercise routine is to combine its three fundamental elements: aerobic, strength training, flexibility, and balance exercises. This can be achieved by some basic workouts. You might’ve already heard of these. The best part is, they can be done anywhere, at any time!

1. Push-ups

This is the most basic and most important exercise of all. It helps you improve your posture. Ever been told that you don’t seem confident enough? Then this is for you! A nice posture with a straight spine would definitely portray confidence!

2. Squats

If you ask me to name one exercise which would challenge almost all the muscles in your body, I’d say it’s the squats. The obvious impact will be on your lower body, but it will also tone your core muscles (abs and obliques).

3. Plank

It is an excellent core exercise. It not only strengthens your core but also improves your stability. Strictly speaking, you can consider it as more of a strength training exercise rather than a core exercise.

These are some basic exercises that have been proven to be really effective. Personally, my favorite is push-ups! I’ve been doing it for years now and it has really helped me to look and feel more confident.

These workouts will be really effective if combined with 20–30 mins of jogging every day. Although they require some amount of physical exertion, I guarantee you it’s totally worth it!

So, what are you waiting for? Just grab your training shoes and give this a try!
