I have always liked walking — walking gives me the freedom I so desperately need in my daily life. It gives me an hour or two where I can clear out my mind, where I can listen to a podcast without anybody interrupting me, where I can cry if needed, and laugh out loud if I wanted.

I know that many of us have a fear of bad weather and sometimes it can become a major point in our decision to get out or stay put. But let me say this — there is no bad weather if you wear proper clothes, and there are a lot of places to go and seek adventure — so get up and let's get moving.

I Have Built Up Resilience

For me, life has always been full of challenges, and for what it’s worth, I feel like we all need challenges from time to time. We need challenges to be able to grow and evolve into a better version of ourselves.

Challenges for me used to take a lot of time to get over them, overcome and learn from them, but since I have been getting my daily exercise in, I have come to a realization – that my capabilities to handle difficult situations in life have become stronger.
