Snacking in the right way consists of nutritious food that will boost your vitamins and minerals nutrients.

That snack should also contain fibre, protein and some good quality fats.

I carry around a handful of these beautiful things, and as soon as hunger strikes before mealtime, I chew (usually crunching away) at my desk.

They are an essential part of my overall nutrient plan of action.

What I’m talking about here are nuts.

A research team analysed 29 published studies worldwide, including 819,000 participants.

Various people were included, such as 12,000 cases of coronary heart disease, 9,000 cases of stroke, and 18,000 cases of cardiovascular disease and cancer.

All up, there were around 85,000 deaths.
