Hello, Penny Pub Writers!

Just a reminder that as volunteers, editors rarely work evenings (after 5 PM in each US time zone) and significantly slow down on weekends. So, responses will likely be slower during those times. We appreciate your patience.

If you’re a new writer, please pay close attention to the guideline reminders below. Our pub’s homepage now has a thorough formatting guide (with screenshots) to help you.

Current prompt (#17)

In honor of the 2024 Olympics, please tell us about your relationship — or lack thereof — to sports.

If you love sports, we want to know why, and if you loathe them, we want to hear about that too. Did you play sports as a kid? Tell us how you got started and what sports you found most enjoyable. Do you enjoy watching sports and get excited about the Olympics? Let us know how that passion to watch was cultivated. Did you have a bad experience involving sports? Please write about that. Do you have any fun family traditions involving sports? Let us know!
