Hello, Penny Pub Writers!

NOTE: I will be out of the country 10/2–10/13. Parasol editors will be filling in, but please be prepared for delays in editing.

Remember, we are now an official boost nomination pub. If you’re interested in being eligible for a nomination, read the latest boost update. The five story components the Curators consider are: the writer’s lived experience, the value and impact to the reader, respect for the reader, non-derivative stories, and the craftsmanship of the writing. Roughly 1% of all stories on Medium get boosted, so send us your best work.

If you’re a new writer, please pay close attention to the guideline reminders below. Our pub’s homepage now has a thorough formatting guide (with screenshots) to help you.

Please be aware that we don’t often edit in the evenings and are much slower to pick up submissions over the weekend, especially on Sundays when I take a break from editing. Thank you in advance for your patience.
