twitterが始まったときのように

アカウントをとってから、しばらく放置していたMediumを使っていこうかと思った。僕の中のSNS的なものの潮流は2009年のtwitterから始まる。それ以前のmixiではない。新しいサービスというのは最初はとにかくよくわからないものだから、無理にでも使っていかなければその感覚はつかめない。でもこのMediumにはなんというか、インターネット空間の初期のような空気があってひかれる。多くのソーシャルなサービスがここまで市民権を得て、だんだんと疑似公共空間のようになっていく息苦しさというのは、どのサービスにも起こりうることであり、その息苦しさが耐えられなくなると、人はその場所を離れ、また違う場所を探すものだ。

そういう意味では、今のここには純然たるインターネット空間のような空気があって気分がいい。それこそ高原に行った時に空気がうまいと感じるかのように今のところ空気がおいしい。インターネット空間は純然たるものであればあるほど、そういうものが感じられる。できればここが疑似公共空間にならないように願いたいなーと。使い方はそれぞれだろうけど、分かっている人のポストにはだいたいそういう感じを受ける。なんというかインターネットセンスというか。だからここではあえて“ネット”というのではなく“インターネット”空間という意識を持っていたいなあと思う。そしてしばらくはそういう意識でここに身をおいてみたい。
