A Visit to the Farm
A ladies' Club called the Madhur Milan Club has a program once every month. It is a club for all ages of women. A friendship and fun club.
I have learned about eco-bricks that they make and promote. They also raise awareness of social issues.
They celebrate festivals that include Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Diwali, Holi, Spring, Teej, Lori and so on.
They also take us for a yearly picnic.
This time one of the members offered that she had a farmhouse and would be delighted if we decided to go there for a visit.
The club took it forward to organize a one-day picnic.
A date was set and we were given a color code of ‘red.’ The bus was to leave by 9 AM.
We reached the designated place where the bus was to pick us up and filled in. About 40 people signed up. We all arrived wearing red.
Everyone was excited and when the bus started we all said Three cheers to MM Club. Being in a chatty and happy mood they played music in the bus and then people started singing.
There was no age bar. The windows were closed so people outside could probably see our actions but not hear us. Everyone began to enjoy it. They gave us packed…
