I’m Not A Foodie When I Travel

But you can’t deny the welcoming colors

You’ve seen them — the folks taking 900 photos of their plate at a restaurant. Those Instagram food-porn presenters who must document every meal, hire a food stylist before lunch and seek out the most artistically presented delicacies atop white linen.

I am not that person.

But hopefully there are many of you here in the photographic arena, ready to show us some of the magic of food. Seriously, what’s not to like?

It’s just that when my partner and I travel, our budget is tight and therefore rather than frequent sit-down highly-rated establishments, it’s more our style to swing through the Mercado de La Bouquera in Barcelona to admire the food and ponder snacks and picnic options.
