Saying Goodbye To Spring

It feels surreal. One day everything is just a dream. The next thing I know, life is defining spring. Rebirth, renewal, rejuvenation, rebirth and resurrection.

It is right to say that spring has loved me more than I deserved. Yet, I was ungrateful in some ways more than grateful in many ways.

Spring made my heart flutter. Sometimes I look flustered on the outside but deep inside my heart is smiling.

Okay, spring. Time to say goodbye. Praying that same time next year we will see each other again in my happy place. I mean, happy places.

In the meantime, life goes on with memories.

The Memories of Spring in Colors

1. Takayama in earth colors.

I took these photos on my 3rd day in Japan. I was in Takayama.

Except for the few flowers, almost everything is subtle in color.

Maybe because it was the first day of spring. Where winter was not yet ready to say goodbye. Still in denial that the season has changed.

2. Beautiful in white Shinhotaka Ropeway.

Here, winter took its stand to stay. Stay even when it’s time to melt away.

No one can it make it go. But why should it go?

Or maybe, just waiting for me.

3. Pretty In Pink

Pink is not all about girly things. It is a color of warmth and sympathy.

A color that reminds me of childhood but especially a color that reminds me of 🌸 cherry blossoms and the blessings of spring.

4. Orange is not always a fruit.

It can be the Sunrise and the Sunset.

The sky takes on shades of orange during sunrise and sunset, the color that gives you hope that the sun will set only to rise again.” ― Ram Charan

It represents joy, enthusiasm, encouragement, change and sometimes dried persimmon and Chinese lantern.

It can be about the hotel we stayed in Taipei.

5. Taipei is like a box of crayons.

As if telling us that life should not be black and white but technicolor.

Should not be in earth tone but in all shades of red.

That life should be like a rainbow or else it would be boring.

Though spring is over, all the memories are here to stay. However uncomfortable summer is, it can be endured because of those memories.

Spring can be a state of mind. Whatever the season is, we can say “It feels like Spring “.
