Random Photos of Hawaiian Love
Living life as a local for a while
I remember walking away from her dorm room knowing it would be a few months before seeing her again.
Fighting tears I made my way back to my hotel in Waikiki for my last night in Honolulu. My daughter was accepted into the University Global Exchange Program and chose beautiful Hawaii.
Of course who could possibly blame her? Who wouldn’t jump at the opportunity to live in Honolulu for 5 months? I never thought I could feel envy of my daughter, but believe me, I do! But in a good way of course.
I’m officially a little jealous, and a whole lot proud of her, beaming proudly actually. This is my daughter’s first time ever living away from home alone. And, it is her first time living outside Canada alone. I’m happy to report she is loving life, Hawaiian style.
I’ve collected photos of when I was there helping to get her comfortable and situated. I’ve also been granted permission to use my daughter’s photos as well.
I hope you will enjoy our random Hawaiian photo excursion!
My guess is this monstera leaf is approximately 3 to 3.5 feet in length. I guess we now know why it’s called the Monstera plant.
