Do you love flowers? Specifically Tulips? Then this festival is a must-see for you. Go to Tulip Town in Washington state. Photo opportunities galore.

It’s about 60 miles north of Seattle and 70 miles south of Vancouver, BC. It happens every spring in April.

I went for the first time in April 2022 but instead of being sunny & warm, it was cool and breezy at 60 degrees. It was still enjoyable as the tulips didn’t seem to mind the weather.

There are three major tulip farms in this area of Mt. Vernon. The first one we went to, Tulip Town, said they only had about 10% of the tulips blooming. We still bought a ticket to see what it was like.

The second one we visited was the RoozenGaarde that is spread out over 5 acres with 50 types of tulips and daffodils. Their farm was in full bloom.

Without further ado, here are many of the photos I took in living color. Simply stunning despite the gray skies and sweater weather.
