Anti-Sports is Anti-Racism
I have one rule. I’m anti-sports.
Let me explain.
In this country, in the United States, racism is a problem, and you see racism most prevalent in the United States prison system. In prisons, prisoners divide up by gangs based on race. There’ll be white gangs, black gangs, and hispanic gangs. And they’ll fight each other based on race. And folks say that if we can end racism, then peace will exist in this country. But by that logic, Mexican prisons should be the most peaceful places on the planet. Cause everyone in a Mexican prison is in a hispanic gang. But Mexican prisons aren’t peaceful. They’re horrifying, just like any prison. In fact, recently, there was the worst prison riot in Mexico’s history at a Mexican prison. And it was over, get this, a soccer game. Meaning, even if you take away race as a factor, people will still put on different colored shirts and stab each other. Because that’s all racism is. It’s red shirt vs. blue shirt.
So yeah, my point is that I’m anti-sports. ’Cause that’s how you rise above racism, by being anti-sports. Because in this country racism is a type of sport.
