A New Set-Point
Illness and the new me
Until recently, I was considered plumb, pudgy, buxom. My granddaughter called me fluffy. All my life, with the exception of two anorexic periods, I was overweight to one degree or another.
As I aged, I accepted that’s who I was. And, it was okay. I was healthy. No high blood pressure. No diabetes. No high cholesterol. My extra weight wasn’t a health issue.
