A Progressive Consumption Tax Proposal

There is a lot of talk right now about a “wealth tax.” I’m proposing something a little different: A progressive consumption tax.

Of course, this is not a fully-fleshed out “bill.” It is a set of ideas that furthers a dialog about reconsidering the method we use for federal taxation in the US now (i.e., the income tax).
