Welcome to the final CIF-Southern Section polls post of the Fall sports season. That’s right, we’ve reached the end and are about to head to the postseason portion of the fall slate.

11-Man Football

Serrano’s still No. 3 and Barstow is still No. 6, but we have a new team in the rankings. Oak Hills is back in it for the first time since early in the season. The Bulldogs are No. 10 (the printed poll you see below is incorrect, they weren’t in the poll last week).

There are the final rankings for the regular season. Playoff brackets will be announced Sunday.

The 8-Man Football polls are done with playoffs set to start this week.

Girls Volleyball

Serrano is still No. 2 in Div. 2A. That will probably give them good positioning in the playoffs. No other local team is in the polls.

AAE is the top ranked local team in Div. 5A. The Knights come in at No. 4 this week followed by University Prep at No. 5, Riverside Prep at No. 8 and Lucerne Valley at No. 9. Hesperia Christian is just outside of the top 10.

Girls Tennis

In the final Div. 4 rankings, Serrano slipped from No. 4 to No. 5. The Diamondbacks will start the postseason Wednesday at home against Lancaster.
