On May 22, 2010, Laszlo Hanyecz* made the first documented purchase of goods with bitcoin by buying two Dominos pizzas for 10,000 Bitcoins, worth around $41 that day.
It’s hard to believe that was only 11 years ago, and equally as important to remember that without pioneers like Laszlo, Fold wouldn’t be able to earn you Bitcoin today when you purchase goods and services everywhere. (ps. this isn’t our first pizza party — checkout ln.pizza if you’re hungry….)
