What is the CoasterCrate Club?
The CoasterCrate Club is a supporters scheme to enable CoasterCrate to produce online blogs, podcasts and videos as well as design, produce and distribute amazing limited edition theme park merch via an online shop. It offers members rewards such as exclusive content, discounts on products and the chance to be involved in the creative process.
I thought CoasterCrate was a subscription box/shop?
The CoasterCrate subscription box has now finished and CoasterCrate is now producing new individual items of limited edition theme park merchandise for purchase as well as producing online content such as blog posts, podcasts, videos and more.
Do I need to join the CoasterCrate Club to buy merch from you or read your blog?
No. Our existing online shop, blog, social media channels and upcoming podcast are all available to everyone to access for free. The CoasterCrate Club rewards members with extra content, early access and discounts to thank them for their support. Exclusive members only items (such as badges) will be produced to thank members for their support.
Why should I support CoasterCrate when you already sell things?
CoasterCrate has to design, produce, sell and distribute it’s own products. This process incurs large overheads (such as ordering stock, packaging supplies etc) and the small quantities involved for our limited edition items mean our profit margin is smaller than you may expect. By offering those who wish a chance to support us in our content and design work and offer exciting rewards, we hope to raise funds to allow us to offer unique online content and great value limited edition theme park merch.
How do Gold members ‘influence’ CoasterCrate’s work?
Most of the communication between us (CoasterCrate’s founders, Matt & Thom) takes place over online messenger chats as we share ideas and work through our plans. Gold members will be invited to join us on online messenger chats to see and have the chance to comment on the creative aspects of CoasterCrate such as new products and designs, blog posts, videos and podcasts. Whether it’s offering an input and helping shape future CoasterCrate designs or merely getting an exclusive insight into how CoasterCrate is run, we hope our most helpful supporters enjoy this reward.
