What’s In a (Startup) Name 2.0?

One thing my C2 Ventures partner and I always enjoy as a side benefit to sifting through our weekly pile of new deal flow is the names of companies.

Many are fairly straightforward, some quite clever, some confusing, and others completely off the rails, but we love them all (especially the last two categories).

Below is a list of my favorites (along with my attempt to decipher each).

Note: I published version 1.0 of this in early 2021 and now that we’re about to cross 2,000 deals reviewed, it seemed like the right time to update it. Hope you enjoy it.
