Where is God calling you from now? Where does he want you to go so He can bless you?

Imagine the Holy Spirit coming to you in a dream or a vision. He tells you to pack up and leave everything you’ve ever known and owned. He tells you to go to a place in this world you’ve never been. You look around you and ponder the thought of leaving what you’re familiar and comfortable with, not knowing where you’ll end up.

“Get out of your country, From your family And from your father’s house, To a land that I will show you. I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” — Genesis 12:1–4

The Lord has blessed me with loving family, relatives and friends. He has blessed me with a loving wife, a comfortable home, good job and stability. What would I do if The Lord called on me to leave all of what He has blessed me with? What if He called on you to leave all you’ve ever known and owned and go somewhere that you don’t know? If He does, and we obey, there’s blessings for us and whoever is connected to us.

We might say we’d do it and I hope I can if that day ever comes. So I’ll start praying for this kind of faith now.

Hebrews 11:8 — By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going.
