Desert stream

Desert stream desert flower

How do you live with the shadowed tower

Of the mighty Brandenburg where

All is listened too and everything is heard

From eons and eons and eons hence

We build up walls and an elegant fence

To protect us from our primal selves

And and put Mr Neanderthal on the shelf

We are not animals anymore

We are a sophisticated selves

that live in doors

And in our desire to. brandish the sword

We have cut a vital umbilical cord

Our true selves bleeding out

While the exterior is plump and stout

We all suffer from nature deficit disorder

Afraid to develop geography much broader

Fearsome of what lies beneath

The fractured mask begins to leak

And stream tears of true connection

Sat deep in resurrection

Sitting grounded connect with earth

An invitation to second birth

Yes I am born again I scream from on high

Born into earth wind water and sky

Naked skin in waters sacred

The internal self knows what it is made with

Breath in love exhale shagrin

Given permission to rebegin

Exposed vulnerable for all to see

But more important I am vulnerable to me

Allow the skip and step of rock

The risk of fall the risk of stop

But as I embrace the natured self

I slow down the need to prove myself

Just allow the world to be

Allow myself to wonder free
