Every startup visualizes to become a global company. With the world becoming more connected and ever more digital, it is much easier to do business globally and get started. Whether you should start thinking global from the beginning or start locally depends a little on the kind of business you’re in.

But times are changing. Experts recommend the new-age startups to first consolidate your local positions and steadily build for the global audience.

  • What are the advantages or disadvantages of a local strategy?
  • What could be the tell-tale signs that a business is not yet ready to go global yet?
  • Does this strategy also apply to blockchain and crypto-based business?
  • What is the best strategy for a crypto or blockchain startup for global growth?
  • What could be the possible factors for a startup to make the choice of being local or going global?
  • What could be the possible tradeoffs between the two obvious options?

Some questions are easily answered, but ground realities are different. Startups in the emerging tech space such as blockchain and crypto are opening faster to the global audience. Sometimes they begin there.

We brought in some peers on this roundtable discussion to ask these questions to each other and lay out some options and plans for the world to follow.
