WOWlab_From the common to the particular_Methodology creation of object-oriented UX design in Virtual Reality.
My name is Pavel Sovushkin. I am the director of UX design at the WOWlab Company.
For a comprehensive solution to the problem of creating UX design for Virtual reality it is necessary to look at many sides/disciplines at the same time.
- Identify production facilities for the project.
- Production facilities consist of a subset of parts.
Project is a system of sets of production facilities, grouped into technological chains of a full cycle at the stage of production.
To elegantly build a project system — you need to understand their rules as disciplines that are mutually dependent, like Eulerian circles on the diagram, but may not intersect in the production chains that create this project.
Example: Art Department performs its task/area of responsibility, Functional/programming Department, perform its area of task.
- Working on the same project they may not be directly involved in each other.
- But the relationship/system is needed. A certain system of formation of the conceptual model, which leads to the result: the production of the project.
For the conceptual level, it is important to define project objectives.
For a clear formation of the project, it is necessary to make a decomposition of its elements.
- Calculate estimates for the production of items.
- To Build the process chain/project planning.
- Determine the rhythm / time of interaction between departments.
- To build the priorities of the elements of the system.
The project document system is used to define the goals of the conceptual level:
1.Brief
2. Concept paper.
3. Interaction Scenario.
4. Art design Document.
5. TECHART Document.
6. Project system of interaction between departments.
- Production plan.
- Road Map.
Instruments of concept level:
The focus of the project.
Task:
- to determine what feelings the Player will experience.
- to describe in two sentences.

- An amazing adventure in a dream, where Players together solving problems-get new abilities.

Forming level systems:
A system is a set of elements of a project that are related to or connected with each other forming an integrity or organic unity.
Definition of the system task.
- It is only with a full understanding of the challenges that appropriate solutions can be found. For results, it is more important to ask the right questions than to answer the wrong ones.
- the Main vector is developed at the conceptual level.
- Shaping experience creates an implementation model.
-UX Designer should create a clear and vivid experience of those elements and those resources that are inside the project.
- Such resources can be as the actual money in the project (budget), and the number of people, their specialization, time.
Combining elements of the system after the project decomposition.
Goal-setting is thinking that is based on a specific task, the answer to which is design.
-Goal-the resulting vector of tasks.
Note:- UX designer it is important to perceive the system of the project objectives in a holistic manner to place the emphasis in the design.
Example:
- To work out both the business task and the client’s task.
Analysis system.
Necessary:
1. to determine the scope of the study.
2, to study the previous work in this area.
3. to take into account the experience gained. Need to know its”subject.”

Question-lens system:
● What is the purpose of my project?
● What are the goals of each subsystem of my project?
● Is there something in my game that contradicts these goals?
- If Yes, how can I change that?
• Who is the audience for my project?
• What stories are familiar to my audience?
• What do they expect from the project?
- what experience does my audience want?
- what elements form this experience?
