EXT. HOIA-BACIU WOODS, ROMANIA-DAWN

Bill, Cassie, and Jody are running as if their lives depend on it because it does. The famished cannibals are in the distance but gaining fast. We may never know why Bill urinated on their sacred idol. Up ahead is a sizable gorge with a 100 feet between each side. For an instant, our heroes appear defeated. Bill squints at the gash in the earth and notices something important. He yells “bridge” and the three pick up speed. They get to the edge and can see in fact it is a bridge…sort of. Two long, wide ropes droopily span the gap tied to iron railroad stakes on either side. Several wood planks are fashioned sporadically to the rope. Below is a drop double the length of the gorge. They look back and can see the cannibals getting closer. Bill steps first. He moves forward cautiously yet confidently. Getting to the other side and pumping his fist quietly. Cassie goes next and practically skips across. Her ballerina days aren’t that far behind her. Jody steps sheepishly to the edge. She peers over the side and looks at the others. Bill and Cassie are waving their arms frantically and shouting at Jody to join them. Jody stands tall and nods to her friends whispering “I’ve got this.” She takes one step, loses her balance, and plummets downward hitting her head on every protruded edge. We see her face smashing against each rock leaving bloody stains along the way. We cut to Bill and Cassie who are screaming in inconsolable and gut-wrenching horror. Cassie looks up and sees the cannibals flying through the air like they are riding imaginary bikes. One lands next to her and flashes his sharp, triangular teeth. Another 10 cannibals hit the ground feet first licking their lips. Cassie and Bill share terrified looks with each other.
