Community for coworking community managers launches in London
A peer-support group for folks who run coworking communities.
Being part of the teams that run and coordinate coworking communities is an immensely rewarding job. Your actions enable young and growing businesses to change the world.
It’s also insanely tiresome, emotionally taxing and sometimes feels really lonely.
The Collaboration of Workspaces (COW) launched in London last night so that community coordinators can come together to share tips, best practices, peer feedback, and most importantly form a community for the folks tasked with crafting and maintaining their own communities every day.
We joined the launch event that was attended by dedicated coordinators from 6 of London’s top coworking spaces, and was sponsored by the pretty awesome KNOMO.
During the discussion, an in-depth list of the biggest challenges facing all the coordinators was drawn up, and will become the backdrop for COW’s future sessions/dinners and drinks.
