The Indeed Money teams adhere to requirements from Japan’s Financial Instruments and Exchange Law, informally called J-SOX. In the systems they manage and build, the Money teams check that modifications are approved at specific points in the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

One of the most important approvals occurs during production deployments. During deployments, the team validates that all commits are covered by code reviews — and this can be very time consuming.
