Unpainted Photographs
What we choose to capture
If you travel to any of my in-lawed Persian relatives’ houses, you’ll be greeted first with fruit, and feta cheese, and bread. They’ll serve you water and likely want you to have something stronger: beer, wine, or maybe even scotch. It won’t matter the time of day when you arrive. You’re a guest and you’ll be honored as if no one like you has been here before.
