New in Notebook.ai: rich-text documents and 5 more page types

Another exciting update to Notebook.ai just went live, and it’s packed with new stuff to assist with both worldbuilding and writing.

Notebook.ai Documents

Documents are a new feature in your favorite smart worldbuilding notebook that allow you to write and store an unlimited number of documents (of unlimited size).

While editing a document, you’ll find formatting options available to you whenever you highlight any text.

Just like other pages you create in your notebook, documents are private by default and for your eyes only. Sharing options will come in a future update.

Plan buildings, conditions, jobs, traditions, and vehicles

The five most-requested page types from this form are now available in Notebook.ai.

• Create Buildings to take the depth of your towns and locations to the next level.
• Create Conditions to track things like diseases, ailments, auras, and transient effects.
• Create Jobs to create an economy in your world, giving everyone a role to play.
• Create Traditions to track holidays and notable events for the people and organizations in your world.
• Create Vehicles to catalog not only the vehicles of your world: cars, boats, planes, and…?

With each new page come the powerful template customization system that exists on other pages (so you can customize your categories and fields to your heart’s content), as well as automatic question generation for each field so you’ll receive questions on your dashboard and worldbuilding prompts.

You can turn on any of these pages and start creating them by clicking “Add more…” at the bottom of your sidebar (below your other page types).

With this update, several existing pages templates have had a few default fields added to them as well. There are also numerous speed and security updates and a nice handful of quality-of-life interface improvements.
