Being grateful means noticing and appreciating the good things in your life and not taking them for granted.

It’s about letting people know how nice they are.

So, it helps us realise that we are not alone and that other people have helped and supported us along the way.

Being grateful is a very important character trait that has a strong link to happiness.

It’s a very good feeling, since it’s hard to feel bitter, angry, or resentful at the same time as being thankful.

So having more opportunities to feel this way can only be a good thing.

Being thankful makes us happy and makes sure we take care of ourselves, our relationships, and our things.

Spiritual Act

Many people see being grateful as a spiritual act, and many religions do, too.

But a lot of researchers in positive psychology have been looking into the science of gratitude and how doing things that make you feel grateful can make you happier.
