Find out more about the fundraising opportunities that Independent Age has to offer

Susanna took on the Great North Run for us this year. Here she talks about the experience:

Next year I will be 70 years old and I wanted to close this decade with a fitness challenge. I wanted to put my mind to looking after my mental and physical health. To train for this race, I ran around a big car park near home, with a hill or two thrown in to practice for the inclines, and each week I built up my running time. The crowds got me through on the day!” If you’d like to show your support for Susanna, you can visit her fundraising page here.

An older woman smiles at the camera as she runs. She holds her hands in a thumbs up and is wearing an Independent Age running vest
